I’ve Got Good News!

Adams & Associates » Disability Benefits » Page 7

Social Security has just announced that they will be moving to new online video hearings for Social Security applicants and the representatives which will allow me to represent you in the hearing by video if you have access to a camera enabled smart phone, tablet or computer.  SSA’s commissioner stated:

“The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of finding new ways to serve the public,” said Commissioner of Social Security Andrew Saul. “For over a decade, the agency has used video hearings to get applicants their hearing decisions sooner. This advancement builds on that effort, making it easier and more convenient to attend a hearing remotely, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. To continue to ensure all participants’ safety, we expect online video hearings and telephone hearings will be the only two hearing options for the foreseeable future.”

The Social Security Administration has expanded the list of medical conditions which will automatically qualify for SSI/SSDI benefits.  This is called a “Compassionate Allowance”.  This is important because it will allow us to represent individuals with certain severe diagnosis and get their benefits more quickly.  For a list of compassionate allowances go to:

Can You Get Social Security Disability for Coronavirus?

Adams & Associates » Disability Benefits » Page 7

The Coronavirus pandemic has hurt a lot of people but can you get Social Security disability for having it?  Listen to the video below for Randy’s answer:

Laughter Is the Best Medicine:

A young girl was walking home from school in the rain.  Her mother saw her out of the kitchen window and noticed that every time the lightning flashed, she would stop, look up and smile.  When she got into the house her mother asked her what she was doing.  The little girl said, “When I saw the flash, I knew God was taking my picture, so I smiled.”

Good food for good health:

Baked or grilled chicken is one of the healthiest meets you can eat.  But unfortunately, it can be bland and boring.  One of my favorite ways to fix a good, healthy chicken dish is to marinate skinless chicken pieces in “Newman’s Own Family Recipe Italian Dressing”.  I just put the chicken pieces in a large storage baggie and let them marinate for at least an hour.  Overnight in the refrigerator is best!  Bake or grill until done.  This is delicious – believe me!

Send me a picture of your dish – you could win a prize!  Stay healthy.

If you know anyone who may need Social Security disability benefits, please give them my number, forward this email to them or click the links below that will share on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn.

I will listen to them and let them know if they have a good case or not. Remember, I never charge for consultations.  And there is never a fee unless we win.

Take care and God bless!

Are Disability Claim Denials A Death Sentence?

Adams & Associates » Disability Benefits » Page 7

Part of our mission statement is to be, “A Voice for the Disabled”. The disabled population in America is a minority and it is hard for a minority voice to be heard. To help each other and to help friends and family who need Social Security Disability Benefits, THE GOVERNMENT MUST HEAR OUR VOICE!

In the last year we have had a number of our claimants die while waiting to receive benefits. This is a national problem. Here’s a link to a website entitled “Disability Denials Can Amount to a ‘Death Sentence’, judge says in Mississippi case.”

https://www.sunherald.com/news/state/mississippi/article242637576.html

If you want the government to know how hard it is to be waiting through the long process of getting Social Security, please let me know. As part of my mission I will convey your story (without your name) to our local, state, and federal governments. I want your voice, our voice to be heard!

Respond to this post with a brief description of your story and we will discuss your case with you.

We do not want the government making the process harder (which is what they are considering now), Social Security funding to be reduced (a yearly political issue), or the process to obtain benefits prolonged.

I work for you. I am your advocate!

You can visit our website for more information and, please, remember to like us on Facebook!

Remember, we are “A Voice for the Disabled”
